Try making this homemade Thai Masaman curry from scratch. This famous Thai curry is delicious and delicious. * Chunks of 1/2 to 1 pound( chicken , beef ,etc..)
*Two medium sized potatoes(Cut into pieces)
*1 (14 oz) coconut milk
*1 small bell paper leaf (oregano)
* 2 Tomato (sliced)
*2 tablespoons of coconut oil (or vegetable oil)
*1/3 cup onions (sliced)
*One small piece of ginger (finely written)
*4 or 5 cloves
*1 red chilli (1 tbsp sliced ​​or chilli powder)
*1/2 teaspoon of chicken flavoring (to be more tasty, but I don’t approve of the flavors being unhealthy)
*2 tablespoons of lemongrass
*3 bay leaves
*1 teaspoon turmeric
*1/4 cup fried cashew nuts (a few more to finish)
*1 tbsp coriander
*1 teaspoon ground coriander
*1 teaspoon whole cumin seed1/8 teaspoon cardamonTissue teaspoon juice (or substitute lime juice)
*3/4 ​​teaspoon shrimp paste (or 1 tablespoon extra)
*2 tbsp of fish sauce
*1 tablespoon palm sugar (or brown sugar)

Steps to make it


Add the ingredients.

Put the oil in a bowl, heat the oil well in a saucepan and add the onions, ginger, garlic and chillies. Stir for 1 to 2 minutes until fragrant.

In addition to the first ingredients, add the following: lime, bay leaf, turmeric, chopped nuts, ground coriander, whole cumin seeds, cardamom, tamarind (or lime juice), shrimp paste, fish sauce and sugar. Stir well with each addition.

Add the spices, stir well with a spoon to blend well with the spices, then add the coconut milk and potatoes. Stir and bring to a boil again. Reduce the fire,

Bake for 30 to 40 minutes, stirring occasionally, until chicken and potatoes are boiling. Add the peppers and tomatoes, about 10 to 15 minutes before the curry is over. If you like curries, cover the bowl with a lid while steaming. If you prefer curry sauce, remove the lid

Examine the flavor of the curry, add the fish sauce to enhance the flavor or salt, or if you want, increase the chili. If sour, add a little more sugar. If it is too salty or sweet to your taste, add more tamarind or lime juice. If the spices are too much, add more coconut milk.

To enhance the flavor, add a little more nuts and transfer to a serving dish, serve with fresh coriander and Thai jasmine rice if desired.
